The Castle is open all year round for groups of people (minimum 10 people). Please call in advance to book your visit.
The visits will be in the following halls:
The Fireplace Hall, dominated by the tall trilobal chimney top built according to the Gothic model of the fifteenth century. The frescoes by G.B. Zelotti and G.A. Fasolo with scenes from Roman history to represent the contrast between fidelity and betrayal, to celebrate the dedication of the Porto family to the Republic of Venice
The Billiard Room which contains the important collections of Porto Colleoni Thiene family. It covers four centuries of history, billiards and 19th-century chandeliers.
Salotto Azzurro and Salon Rosso, for sale, covered floor and walls according to Guardino Colleoni's wishes in the nineteenth century. The period furniture is preserved and continues the collection of portraits.
The Horse Gallery in the salon on the noble floor dominated by the big five-light windows has a terracotta pavement found under a layer of nineteenth century bitumen. Very interesting is the collection of 17th century furniture which includes sofas and armchairs. On the walls an interesting collection of 17th century equestrian portraits.
The Stables built for Scipio Porto towards the end of the 17th and the beginning of the 18th century. on the design of the architect Francesco Muttoni. The columns are made of red marble of Asiago, on top of a series of stone putties in Vicenza. They were intended to accommodate horses to train. The stone column in the center of the court is the only surviving testimony of the chivalry.
